Let them all listen to your silence
Fresh music coming at you this Monday from the Ting Tings. Their new album, Sounds from Nowheresville, is a nice little package of sonic awesomeness. In other words, you’re totally set for the week (:
The track Silence sparkles with a quiet grandeur (pun not intended). All tracks are rougher than we found on We Started Nothing, The Ting Tings first album. In contrast, I also find some honey sweet pop songs that make me already long for the summer. The British newspaper The Guardian described the difference of the two albums as the difference between a singles collection (We Started Nothing) and a collection of album tracks without singles (Sounds From Nowheresville). I couldn’t describe it better.
